Green Lantern Movie Review

Even though I heard it was rated 24% on Rotton Tomatoes, I had to go see Green Lantern.

Yahoo Critics gave it a -C, and that's pretty accurate. But it's probably one of those Critic Proof Movies. Like Transformers, Pirates of the Caribbean, etc.

I will say, his Green Lantern Constructs were nice.

Otherwise, not a great movie. This is not in the tradition of Dark Knight Returns, Spiderman, or Iron Man.

Green Lantern was just there wasting time.

It does not engage you. Doubtful that you will connect and root for the lead character. And the story is overall a mess. Not streamlined, no momentum. Many dull spots.

And the Coup de Grace, it doesn't even have a great ending.

The 3D is mostly useless, and barely utilized. I would have saw the movie in regular... but... and it's a good butt...

I WAS NOT going to forgo the opportunity to see Ryan Rynolds in 3D.

What I enjoyed about the movie was Ryan Reynolds and his butt. The best use of 3D was a scene of a floating Hal Jordan in nothing but tight, white, boxer briefs.

I spent all of the movie admiring sexy Mr Reynolds.

The movie has no high rewatchable value for me. But if the DVD includes behind the scenes video of Ryan in his Motion Capture Outfit, I'll buy that bad boy in Blu Ray.

Butt Extra! Mark Strong, who plays Sinestro, had a remarkable ass as well! But I suspect it was CGI Ass.
